Blind Spot is an area that is not reachable by the driver's vision. Illustration of the picture below (gray).
Blind-spot is very dangerous, when the car will change lanes, or is being overtaken by other drivers. Also when parking is difficult to see the angle of the car body view.
In the picture above you can see, the default rearview mirror is not functioning optimally. Because there are still fields not covered by the mirror.
